The Hougang Tou Mu Kung temple celebrated the ninth day of the Nine Emperor Gods festival on Thursday.
Deputy prime minister Teo Chee Hean graced the occasion, which included an elaborate procession of vibrant floats and festive performances.
Rites concluded with the burning of a dragon boat made of paper, which carried the written wishes of the devotees.It was eventually set alaze and sent to sea.
