The Stand Up On May Day event, organised by the civil society group Stand Up For Singapore turned Hong Lim Park into a carnival-like venue yesterday with bubbles and ice cream.
It also saw Singaporeans from various backgrounds participating in games and speaking to strangers to know one another better.
The group had held two other events previously, one of which was to get people to give up their seats for the elderly, and the other was to show appreciation to public transport workers who worked during the holidays.
Here are some pictures from the event.
