Photographing a burial

Funerals. We hate them, but we will attend at least one in our lifetime.

Photographing a burial is never easy. It takes a lot of emotional detachment.

Generally, people are not in the mood to be photographed at a funeral. Most of the time, there will be huge outpouring of emotion and grief.

You must know who are the immediate family members, and also as important, the burial customs and procedure. You wouldn't want to run around every so often, do you?

Know where to stand to get the best shot before it happens. Try to be as unobtrusive as possible, at best, be invisible.

And most importantly, all of us should never forget why we are at a funeral.
