Don't stop belieb-ing.

Four meet-and-greet passes were given away by HOT FM91.3 and Universal Music at Bieber Fest 2013 on Saturday at Bugis Junction.

The event saw hundreds of fans, both local and from overseas, do a mass dance with DJs Boy Thunder, Adam Piperdy and Joshua Simon, as well as participate in various games and a lucky draw to win limited edition Bieber goodies and tickets to his concert at the Padang tonight as part of the 2013 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix.

Singaporean Tia Yurika Rosman, 15, never thought she’d be able to watch Justin Bieber in a concert here, much less meet her idol in person. Tonight, she’ll be doing both. The secondary school student, who couldn’t afford the $148 ticket price, won the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Local student Ayu Katrina, 16, wowed the crowd with her energetic moves to the “lolly dance”, a new dance craze started by Bieber from his collaboration with US rappers Maejor Ali and Juicy J. She slipped in a bit of twerking too – to dropped jaws from the DJs – and walked away with a concert ticket. “I want to be a singer, so he inspires me to make my dreams come true,” she said.

Others weren’t so lucky. Malaysian fan Joanna Joseph, 15, was “devastated” at not being picked. She had travelled over seven hours by bus from her home in Port Klang with her father. “I’ve been trying to meet him many times over the last three years,” said the student through tears.

But she, like some other Beliebers, occupied themselves over the weekend with trying to figure out the pop star’s whereabouts. All they knew was that he would be flying in from Bali, where he was recording new music with producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.

Here is a video of the mass dance perfromed by the beliebers.
