Today is Elliott's first day of school. He is attending primary one in Saint Andrews Junior School. It is a day where he will face new challenges, new responsibilities will come, and many new friends he will meet.
Elliot's mother Joanne Soh recalled how she and her husband taught Elliott how to tie his shoelaces. They told him about the difference at primary school, where he would have to sit down and pay attention.
They had two trial runs to get the right time to leave home for the short walk to school, which is about 15 minutes away. It helped that Elliott has always been an independent child.
Luckily, there were no hiccups on the first day.
